Dave Todaro - Chairman & Treasurer
Dave is Vice President of Portsmouth - based BID2WIN, the leading provider of Windows®-based cost estimating and bidding solutions for the infrastructure industry. He graduated from the honors program at the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering. He joined BID2WIN Software, Inc. as a software designer and engineer, and became a partner in the company in 1994. Dave works with BID2WIN engineers to advance the current version of BID2WIN. He has been designing and developing software applications since age 11.
Brian Widell - Vice Chairman
Brian Widell is co-founder and president of Profit Tools, Inc., a leading provider of software to the commercial trucking industry, specializing in intermodal and multi-mode operations. Profit Tools' products automate customers' core business functions and enable electronic communications between trucking companies, their customers and partners, and their drivers in the field. Widell is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Princeton University. He has served as a director for SwANH since May 2005, and currently chairs the association's Programs Committee.
James McKim - Director
James McKim is the Information Technology Group Manager at F.I.R.S.T., and is responsible for strategic and day-to-day operations of F.I.R.S.T.'s computing infrastructure, which supports thousands of users worldwide. Prior to joining F.I.R.S.T. James was a co-founder of ISRG, Inc., a management-consulting firm. James graduated from Dartmouth College with degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy. He spent several years with Digital Equipment Corporation in the Corporate Operations Group where he assisted clients world-wide such as Alcoa, Kodak, Polaroid, NASA, and Singapore Telecom.
Nick Thickins - Director
Nick Thickins has over 15 years' experience in the high tech industry in a
variety of sales, technical marketing, operations and finance roles. Prior
to forming SyAM Software, he was one of the founders of the US Operation for
Eurologic and helped to grow it from $17m to $270m in revenue. Previous to
this he was the Vice President of Operations for Cyberstorage Systems, Inc.
and a key member of the team that grew sales from $1M to over $18M in less
than 24 months.
Debbie Leander - Director
Debbie Leander is president and co-founder of Telling Stone Software LLC. The company provides software design and development contracting services for applications, interfaces and custom technology projects, as well as business process and user interface consultation -- for both technology vendors and their customers. Prior to Telling Stone, Leander was Vice President of Product Management for Daylight Software. Leander's experience with hotel sales and catering automation began in 1989 at Newmarket International. Leander is a graduate of Babson College, with a B.S. in finance and entrepreneurial studies.
Jason Oster - Director
Jason is an attorney with Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Manson, p.l.l.c. in Manchester and assists software companies with licensing, registering copyrights for computer programs, raising private equity funds from venture capital firms and angel investors, establishing equity compensation plans and other various general corporate and commercial matters. Jason practiced for over three years in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire before joining CLRM. He has his BA from UNH, an MBA from Northeastern University, and his JD from Northeastern University School of Law.
Rick Szilagyi - Secretary & Executive Director
Rick has served as the Executive Director for SwANH since 2005, and the SwANH Board of Directors recently voted him in as Secretary. Rick is the owner of Lexian Management Associates, LLC, a small management company specializing in association management. Prior to starting his business, Rick worked in telecom for a couple of years, and for many years in healthcare, where he managed large clinical laboratories. He has a BS from Ursinus College, and a Master of Management degree from Penn State.
Tom Daniels - Director
Tom is the Vice President of Customer Support & Service and Information Technology for Bottomline Technologies in Portsmouth, NH. His responsibilities include providing technical support for multiple product lines to over 6000 customers; product fulfillment, licensing, and software maintenance as well as infrastructure including networks, telecommunications and desktop support. Prior to his position with Bottomline, Tom worked as a principal, and CFO and Treasurer, for a start-up IT consulting company. Tom has a BA from Castleton State College, and an MBA from Northeastern University.
Leon Schwartz - Director
Leon has worked in the software industry for over 17 years. He has held
various management positions in a number of leading software companies
including Support, QA, Product Management, Training, and Sales. Leon is
currently a Regional Sales Manager for NetSuite, a leading provider of
on-demand, integrated business management software. Prior to NetSuite,
Leon worked at Microsoft, Great Plains and Autodesk. Leon holds a BS
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the College of New
Jersey.
Thomas Obrey - Director
Thomas Obrey co-founded PixelMEDIA in 1994. As Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, managing the development and professional services staff, and providing senior level strategy and consultation services to the company's vast client base. Prior to founding PixelMEDIA, he worked at Cabletron Systems for four years. Individually, he has gained national accolades for his work, including being twice named as a Top 100 Media Producer in the Country by AV/Multimedia Producer Magazine. He has also been featured in Computerworld and VAR Magazine, and was a MIMC Award and ENVISION Award finalist for his technology design work.
John Nelson - Director
John is Director of R&D for the electronics division at Siemens PLM Software, which was previously Unicam Software, a Portsmouth-based software company. He is responsible for the development of process planning and monitoring software for the electronics manufacturing industry. Prior to joining Unicam in 1998, John was an embedded software engineer and R&D manager for MKS Instruments, delivering pressure measurement and adaptive control systems for the semiconductor industry. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, with a BS and MS in electrical and computer engineering.
