Vision
SwANH's vision is that quality software and information technology are developed and used in New Hampshire in a way that provides a high quality of life for all its citizens.
Our History
SwANH was born in 1994 when several hundred software professionals got together at an exposition and realized that indeed there was an emerging industry in New Hampshire - the software business.
From that modest start, SwANH has continued to grow and evolve. Recently, the mission has been expanded to reflect the growing "sister" industry to software - the internet industry. The membership of SwANH today not only includes software and internet companies, but is comprised of the Consultants, Attorneys, Accountants, Bankers, Venture Financiers and others who support the software and internet industries - together all of the above represent the software and internet "community" in New Hampshire. SwANH is a primary facilitator behind this thriving, and exciting new community.
The SwANH Organization
The SwANH organization consists of a Board of Directors, Board Committees, SIG's - Special Interest Groups, an Advisory Council of leaders of related organizations, and relationships with Affiliate organizations.
The board provides the direction for SwANH and is comprised equally of software and internet veterans and the service providers that complete the community. Board Committees lend focus to specific responsibilities of the Board and include groups of people focusing on:

- The Annual Conference
- Membership
- Web Site
- Public Policy (legal and workforce issues)
