SIGs

The SIG's, or Special Interest Groups are sub groups within SwANH. They are designed to deliver networking and educational opportunities for their membership through online communication and monthly meetings.

Software & IT Executives Forum

The Software & IT Executives Forum is a group of software and IT presidents, CEOs, CFOs, VPs, and Directors who get together on a monthly basis to discuss the challenges of managing software and information technology companies. There is also a maillist for anytime discussions.

The Software & IT Executives Forum will be held the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6 - 8 PM at the Foxfire Grill in Epping, NH unless otherwise specified.

This month's meeting will be July 15th (yes, it's an exception).

RSVP: By the morning of the meeting for dinner headcount to Brian Widell.

The SwANH - Software & IT Executives Forum is an opportunity for senior managers in software and IT organizations (e.g. CEOs, Presidents, CFOs, CIOs, Vice-Presidents, Directors) to share their experiences and gain insights into solving management problems in an informal dinner setting.

The group generates its own topics from problems they face at the time of the gathering. They can range anywhere from "what's the best way to motivate my staff" to "who is the best person to go to in California (or insert your state/country) to open up a new office".

We have two overarching rules:

  1. Confidentiality - anything mentioned during a meeting is to be kept in strict confidence
  2. No sales pitches - anyone giving a sales pitch during the dinner or on the maillist will be barred from participating in the forum.
